Ingredients
100g Quinoa
1 Organic Egg
1 Tablespoon Coconut Flour
2 Tablespoons Water
1/2 Teaspoon Baking Powder
1/2 Teaspoon Bicarbonate of Soda
1/2 Tablespoon Mixed Herbs
Pinch of Sea Salt/Himalayan Salt
Freshly Ground Black pepper
Cooking Instructions
- Cover the Quinoa with water and soak for 6-8 hours
- Rinse the Quinoa thoroughly in cold water
- Place the Quinoa, Egg, Water, Bicarbonate of Soda, Baking Powder and Mixed Herbs into a blender and blend until smooth. The mixture should be thick but not stiff
- Pour the mixture into a round removable bottom cake tin
- Sprinkle the Salt and Pepper onto the mixture
- Place in the oven and bake at 180 degrees or gas mark 4 for 10-15 mins or until firm and golden
- Add toppings of choice and cook for a further 10-15 mins
