
Another great recipe using yes you guessed it – Turkey Mince. Enjoy!!!

Ingredients
500g lean turkey mince
To make sauce
1 Teaspoon of Rapeseed Oil
4 tablespoons Double Concentrate Tomato Puree
1 Organic veg stock cube
400g vine ripened tomatoes
100g white onion
2 cloves of Garlic
1 Tablespoon of mixed herbs
Salt and pepper to taste
- Heat the oil in a pan on a medium heat until hot
- Finally chop the onion and garlic and cook in the pan until transparent
- Rough chop the tomatoes and put into the pan – stir
- Add the tomato puree – stir
- Crumble the stock cube and add the salt, pepper and mixed herbs to the sauce – stir
- Cover and simmer on low heat for 30-40 mins – taste and add further seasoning if required
- Heat a large frying pan until hot and dry fry the turkey mince until cooked
- Add the sauce to the meat and cover – simmer on a low heat for a further 30 minutes
- Serve on a bed of pasta of choice
- Try adding additional vegetables to help get in those 5-a-day
